In 2005, a small asbestos and lead laboratory was acquired by new ownership and transformed into Safety Environmental Laboratories and Consulting, Inc. (SELC). With a focus on growth in existing services and development of new capabilities, SELC was transformed into a full-service environmental, health and safety consulting firm.  SELC developed a microbial laboratory and expanded the asbestos laboratory.  We dedicated ourselves to provide clients with innovative solutions through high standards of quality, excellence and integrity.  To date, SELC is firmly rooted in the same vision Mr. Charles Terrell, President, Mr. Shannon Sutton, Vice-President, and Mr. Neil Matson, Vice-President, implemented when they purchased SELC; an organization that offers employees and clients an opportunity to be a part of a company dedicated to professionalism, quality, and growth. It takes time to develop the systems, people and facilities that have helped us to remain here today. We have been in business over 15 years and have grown our customer base to over 3,000 strong.
